The Soubise Park Pond Fishing Center

The Parc Soubise Sport Fishing Center is a wild and historic area in the heart of the Vendée bocage. Private pond, between Vendrennes and Mouchamps, with an area of 27 hectares, it has many posts accessible all year round.

The depth is on average 2.5 m and up to 4 m at the dyke. The very quiet site, ideal for a good session in an exceptional setting. White fish: specimens of carp, grass carp and sturgeon over 20 kg. The site is under the permanent protection of a sworn guard.

  • The positions must be rented preferably by 1 fisherman to have only 18 fishermen maximum around the pond.
  • Possibility to rent the hut with post 07 for 5 € per day.
  • Vehicles must be parked in the car parks after unloading the equipment (we decline all responsibility in the event of theft and accident).
  • Visitors must have left the site before dark.
  • Our friends the dogs are tolerated but must be kept on a leash or under supervision on the station “whatever the race”
  • Swimming is strictly prohibited. It is forbidden to wash dishes in the pond.
  • Showers, sinks and toilets are available in the courtyard of the castle at the entrance “please keep them clean”
  • It is strictly forbidden to defecate at the edge of the pond and to degrade the vegetation.
  • Do not light a fire on the ground (camping gas allowed) standing barbecue allowed. Avoid being noisy, be respectful of nature and other anglers. Your trash cans are to be taken home.
  • Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground or in the pond.
  • The pitches must be clean on your departure, a check will be made after your departure. It will no longer be possible to resume a reservation if the post is dirty and we will contact you to inform you.
  • Minors must be accompanied by an adult or have parental consent.
  • No refund, postponement or credit in case of early departure of the fisherman will be made for any reason.

  • Access prohibited above posts 1 and 18 “RESERVE” fishing prohibited above the buoys in the reserve.
  • 4 rods per angler and it is imperative to stay close to the rods when they are stretched.
  • It is forbidden to fish a post from another post.
  • You must fish only the position you have reserved.
  • Fishing for roach and pike is strictly prohibited (immediate exclusion)
  • The landing mat of a minimum size of 1 meter is mandatory as well as a large carp landing net.
  • Only biwys are accepted (no gazebo or tent except with authorization) Inflatable boats and boats are authorized with electric motor for sounding, priming and lair removal.
  • Removal of boat assemblies prohibited (radio-controlled boats are strictly prohibited. everyone must be equipped with a life jacket to navigate.
  • Bait rocket priming is allowed (boilie gun prohibited)
  • Only quality boilies and well-cooked seeds as well as pellets are allowed.
  • Floating H markers are allowed but prefer “tube” markers to prevent fish from walking around with the H.
  • The braid is authorized on the reels but prohibited in the snatch and at the bottom of the line (only the fluorocarbon is authorized at the bottom of the line and in the snatch of large diameter)
  • The maximum permitted hook size is #2.
  • NO KILL is mandatory, fishing must be practiced with respect for the fish, they must be released immediately after the photo shoot, preferably in the water or kneeling above the landing mat, and of short duration.
  • Storage bags are only authorized for carp “sturgeons and white cupids: immediate release. »
  • Tagging fish or any form of mutilation is strictly prohibited.
  • Intoxication and illegal substances are strictly prohibited.
  • These regulations must be signed on your arrival and kept during your stay.
  • The management reserves the right to immediate exclusion from the site, and without reimbursement, in the event of non-compliance with the latter.

The large bay windows open onto the interior courtyard overlooking two 17th century listed buildings. The entrance to this cottage is through the bay window on the left. The interior of the cottage was completely renovated in 2020.
