The entrance to Saubonne cottage (gite) is through the left French window of the 19th-century outbuilding, originally housing the tack-room. Ground floor: living room opening on to an interior courtyard opposite two 17th-century buildings. Outside space with garden furniture in shared Courtyard with covered wood storing area.

The gîte was completely renovated in 2020. Dogs are welcome.

Ground floor:

  • Independent lavatory

  • Each of the gîtes are independent but can be combined with the other cottages. Saubonne gîte is separated from the neighbouring ‘Parthenay l’Archevêque’ gîte by a hedge, but they can easily be linked for a joint rental.

First floor:

  • Main bedroom with a double bed (160cm) with castle view

  • Second bedroom with two bunkbeds (90cm by 190cm) and a single bed (90cm by 190cm), courtyard view

  • Bathroom with a floor level shower and lavatory

      • Minimum stay for cottage rental: 2 nights
      • The rates for public holidays, the day before public holidays and bank holiday weekends correspond to the high season rate for the gîte.
      • rental of sheets and towels: €12 per person per stay, not included in the rental price
      • Taxes de séjour: 5,5% not included in the rental price
      • Arrival time between 17 h to 21 h, please send an SMS indicating time of arrival/latest time of departure 11 h.
      • Heure d’arrivée : de 17h00 à 21h00 (merci d’envoyer un SMS précisant l’heure de votre arrivée) / Heure de départ limite: 11h00
      • Booking conditions: 50% of the total value of the booking by bank transfer, as well as, a signed rental contract, 30 days prior to arrival date.
      • Cancellation policy: should the booking be cancelled, full refund, if 30 days prior to arrival date. No refund, if cancellation occurs less than 15 days prior to arrival date.

    Nichés au cœur d’un domaine seigneurial à 20 mn du Puy du Fou et à 50 mn de la gare de Nantes, 4 gîtes refaits à neuf accueillent 4 à 5 personnes chacun dans le cadre protégé et unique du Parc Soubise.

    Ce vaste domaine (1000 ha) se compose de deux châteaux, d’une grande forêt et de plusieurs étangs qui offrent aux hôtes des gîtes de belles opportunités de promenade à pied ou à vélo et de pêche sportive (sur réservation). Pour ceux qui aiment l’histoire, une visite guidée vous est proposée avec le propriétaire pour vous faire découvrir comment ce site historique important de la région s’inscrit aussi bien dans la grande que dans la petite histoire de France.

    La visite historique est proposée comme une expérience supplémentaire.
